Kids of Punta

Las Dunas de Taroa, La Guajira, Colombia

The Guajira peninsula is the northernmost point of the South American continent and home of the Wayuu people. This series captures a moment in Las Dunas de Taroa, where the desert sand dunes meet the sea. I got to play with some Wayuu kids. As neither of us spoke the other's language, we communicated through play, gestures and feelings.
